Bought my '09 Concours14 from Joel and Dayton. Bike has been great and so has Gardy's. They are always friendly and professional whether fixing something under warranty or servicing something I can't do myself. Shop and showroom are always spotless - they treat you fairly and I'll look to them again when it's time for a new bike.

Their experianced repair technicians do great, high quality work at reasonable rates and I've brought in some tough repair jobs! I have been working with these guys for years now never really done to much work in service because i like to do as much as i can by myself , I do however ask them questions from time to time and the one thing i like is that they are always honest , no used car salesman tactics just real guys doing real guy things (motor heads like myself ) they will tell you the truth about if they think an aftermarket part is worth it as far as im concerned they know Kawasaki like the back of there hand they might not always have a smiling voice over the phone but screw a smile i want the truth and they give it to you price or professional opinions . good job guys as always i trust your opinion when it comes to my 2008 zx14 or my old connie. stock air filter it is thanks

I recently purchased a used Kawasaki 650 Brute Force from Gardy's. I was extremely impressed by the service and knowledge of Joel and the staff. They were very friendly, helpful, and willing to explain everything in great detail. I did have one issue with starting the machine and they took care of everything, fixing the problem within a day free of charge! I would highly recommend Gardy's. Everyone is pleasure to work with, and some of the best customer service I have ever had!

My experience at Gardy's  with Joel and Dayton were excellent.  I initially talked to Joel on a bike I was looking at on-line but could not be in for a couple days to see it.  I said I could put money down but he assured me no problem they would hold it for me without it and would call if someone else was interested but I was first in line.  I liked that.  When I did get to Gardy's to look at the bike Joel was very informative and helpful,  The kind of service that everyone likes to get.  I put money down on the bike that day and said I would be back the next to pick up.  It needed a new plate and Joel said he would take care of it that day so when I picked up the bike the next day it would be ready.  Next day I showed up and guess what, the bike was ready!!    Finished the paperwork and was handed to Dayton to tell me about the bike.  Hat's off to Dayton for a very detailed and informative talk on the operation and maintenance of the motorcycle.  I asked lot's of questions and Dayton answered them all.  Even helped me strap the bike down for the trip to it's new garage.  Dayton asked me if there was anything else he or they could do and the answer was no, they did everything and more!  I usually don't buy from dealers or write reviews,  but I will be back.  Thanks to Joel and Dayton for the GREAT GREAT Service.  Joel and Dayton Thomas run a motorcyclist's Kawasaki dealership - their handling of my motorcycle experience was simply outstanding. Joel always the consumate professional; Dayton's technical experience and instruction were superlative - his pre-ride instructions were so thorough and complete I felt as if I were a racer getting ready to hop on a racebike and head out on the track...sadly my Walter Mittty moment ended and I rode home confidently on my new 2015 Kawasaki ZX14R ABS - Kawaski Green, of course! Joel & Dayton have my highest recommendation as a Kawasaki dealer - with over 40 years of riding and having seen and experienced a few motorcycles; Gardy's Sport Center is unequivocally the most OUTSTANDING Kawsakai Dealer I have ever had the pleasure of buying a motorcycle from. Hi, I just wanted to write in and tell you what a blessing it was to find you guys at Gardy's in my time of need on my trip to Minnesota...I was ecstatic when I called on a Monday to even find you were open since most dealers are closed til Tuesday...then when you told me you had my tires in stock I had to ask you to repeat it because my ears couldn't believe it...and finally that you could take care of me that day I almost went into shock...at home, I would have had to make an appointment 2 weeks out and order the tires...and it would not have happened on a Monday!...
So, I  just wanted to say thank you for being there and taking such good care of me, you guys are awesome and were recommended by family I was visiting on my trip.
I made it home safe.

I have done business with Gardy’s  Sport Center for over 30 years.  My experience includes:
• Exceptionally clean shop
• Great customer services above and beyond the standard such as:
o Lost Pontoon keys in which Joel drove to Balsam Lake, WI and helped me find the keys. 
o Deliverance of my boat and water skis to my place of residence after winterizing. (They make it look like a walk in the park)
• Great competitive pricing on service and products.
• Selling of my used jet skis and motorcycle and receiving top price.
Because of these seemingly simple yet important interactions, I would recommend this business to anyone.  Although, I do tip for service, I always feel it is never enough.  They have a commitment to the customers that is hard to find anywhere.  In my opinion, that is one of the reason they are now in the third generation of shop owners.  KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

I have known Joel for many, many years and now have gotten to know Dayton as well.  I know the entire Thomas family quite well as I grew up with them, too.  I knew that as soon as I was ready to buy a boat I was definitely going to buy through Gardy's.  Buying a boat is very scary and they made it so easy!  For a very small fee, Joel and Dayton pull my boat out of my slip, drive it to storage in the Fall and then in the Spring, they pick up my boat from storage, bring it to the shop, make sure everything is good to go and then launch it, drive it into my slip for me, cover it and it's there for me the next morning and like I say, for a very small fee, I've done nothing and I can just go to the marina and go!  Their customer service is next to none and they always take really good care of me!  They are extremely honest and fair!  I wouldn't go anywhere else and neither should you!

I thought i would spend a few moments and let gardy,s sport center and owners ,gardy , joel , and son Dayton know, that since i was a young man from mahtomedi ,and playing on the river , they all , have been top shelf with my wet bike , and boating needs , they have always gone beyond the needel to get me moving , no matter what the challenge i offered them ,  and their have been many .  they have met them with professsional candure , and top shelf service , parts , and a time line i could always deal with , as boaters we want things right now , joel understands the limited time we all have on the water , as he's a boater himself ,   which is a doulble score for me , as no one wants to sit out the saturday events , on the st croix ,  he also understands the investment it takes to be on the water ., so to gardy who now sits on the porch enjoying his golden years ,as well he should , and joel thomas and son dayton ,kudo's for the past 20 years working with a family who goes beyond and above for me every time i need it,,, a small town dealer ,who never sold out , and continues to be their for us all in need of marine and biking needs , count on them its their lifes blood and they show it . regards , RICK R ROLLING , 100% pleased ,

We recently purchased a jet ski from Gardy's and also had our other one serviced for a major repair with Joel and his team. Their knowledge, service, and overall attention to customer satisfaction were outstanding in every aspect. They went the 'extra mile' in ensuring we were happy with our purchase. The jet ski's instrument display was sold to us 'as is' with our knowledge of it not being fully functional when we bought the jet ski. Within a few days of our purchase Joel called to say they had a salvage job come in and the display matched what we had so they would install it in our ski for no charge. They did not need to do this and was true indication of their commitment to customer satisfaction. The repair work they performed on our other ski was thorough with extra work performed which they did not quote nor charge us. This was done on a tight timeline so we could get the ski back and in the water for the remainder of summer. I would highly recommend Gardy's for a purchase of a vehicle or any service needs. They are top notch!

I read through all 15 reviews on both Google Maps and citysearch (dot) com and saw the positives outweighed the negatives.
The work which was performed was meticulously done and performed quickly when the parts arrived. They have a new ultra-sonic machine which they clean all engine-carbs in. For no additional cost they diagnosed (by the squeaking) loose motor-mount bolts and tightened them, and checked all of the others. They worked on them for 6+ hours total because of how terribly gummed up they were, but only billed me for the 3.5 hours of shop time which their shop-book indicated was quoted time.
I am very happy with their mechanic service and recommend them highly.

I have taken my boat to Gardy's for winterizing and other services and found their customer service to be top notch.  Very accomodating and even offering same day service if needed.  Good value for the $$$ as well.
